Helpful SEND Tribunal videos

Cambridgeshire SENDIASS, along with other SENDIASS in the Eastern Region, have been working with Suffolk to produce videos for parents providing information and advice about appealing to SEND Tribunal. The first two series are now available.

Where any reference is made to Suffolk SENDIASS or departments you should refer to Cambridgeshire SENDIASS - contact details are at the bottom of this page.

There is also an HM Courts and Tribunals Service film on video hearings and the SEND tribunal.

Expected timescales for SENDIASS support

A Database and Advise Line Officer will take your calls between 9am-5pm and respond to any emails with 24 hours. You will then be allocated to an Advisor who will make initial contact within 5 days to arrange an appointment. Appointments will be within 2 weeks (please note, these timescales are maximum, and most cases will be dealt with sooner).

Confidential helpline open during term times: 0300 365 1020

Outside of term time please leave a message as a small number of staff are available to answer queries but it will take time for them to respond to your enquiry.

Please be aware that following guidance from IPSEA, SENDIASS regrettably will not be able to offer advice and support to families who also have an Independent Advocate and/or Barrister. This is to avoid the potential for conflicting advice and to ensure our appointments are available for parents and carers who are not receiving any other support.
